New baby due in May. We no longer actively encourage co-sleeping, but we also don't discourage it. Most nights at least one of our 4 yo twins ends up in our bed. I plan to cosleep with the newborn and am worried about safety with a preschooler or two climbing in on top of him. How have others handled this?
We thought about moving one of the 4 yo mattresses into our bedroom next to our bed for the girls - if we do this, should we start now or wait until the baby arrives? On the other hand, if they want to sleep in their own room the mattress will be in our room, and we can't move it back and forth. Get another mattress? How do we talk to a 4 yo about why she won't be able to sleep next to mommy? Help!
