Anyone here get evaps on ICs withing the time limit? I am 9dpo and can see the slightest shadow of a line, it looks like it has some color to it but I can't tell if my eyes are playing games on me. It is really early but it is killing me this 2ww.

again... thats how my bfps started (both on ICs and pink foil FRERs)
within a couple days the FRERs were dark and obvious
the ICs took about a week
ETA -
Here was my first IC http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5115.jpg
Here was my first FRER http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5152.jpg
Two days after the first FRER http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5182.jpg
And my progression from my first IC through where they became visibly positive http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5292.jpg
by 15dpo my FRER and FRDigi were both quite obviously positive and as you see... the ICs were still questionable.
At 10 weeks now... I have had an ultrasound and baby is fine, where it needs to be, just one baby and growing right on target. So keep in mind even if your tests do not get darker extremely fast... you can still have a TOTALLY healthy pregnancy!

Fingers crossed for you, it definitely sounds like it could be a slight ++++
I will say that this month I had a pink line, very faint, but definitely pinkish on an IC at 6dpo. I mean really, what kind of a sane person tests that early anyways???...LOL
I am 12 dpo now and have had clear positives on tests since 10 dpo, but I had definite negatives on the IC at 7,8,9 and 10 dpo. So I really think the 6dpo was just some sort of weird error on the test, so I'd say be cautiously optimistic, and maybe get yourself a nice FRER to test with tomorrow.
Fingers crossed for you.

Out of about 25 IC's I got probably 20 shadow lines within 10min and one line that had pink to it when I was not pregnant.
This is the one that I could see slight pink in and so could my 7yo Ds lol. This was taken after the time limit but the line was there in the time limit.

I was pretty convinced from this test after editing it. I learned not to trust lines like this on IC's though, it was pretty crushing to get nothing but BFN's after that. I'd get hopeful but not excited until you get a better line.
Fingers crossed, I hope this is the start of a BFP for you and your last TWW for a long time!

Thanks guys
I am going to take a FRER and a IC in the morning and see if anything shows. My test looks like some of yours so I am hoping this is the beginning of a BFP. I have been crampy the last few days and I looked back on my last PG charts and it looks like I had cramping about the same time when I was PG last time so FX crossed. I will update tomorrow

Still getting a shadow type line this morning. It's only 10dpo and it hasn't even been 24hours since I got that shadow line yesterday afternoon so I am hoping it's just hasn't doubled HCG yet enough to give a stronger line. I took a FRER too but think I can see something but I might have line eyes now. I guess I will wait till tomorrow AM. If this really is a BFP then it should be a bit darker by tomorrow since 24 hours would have passed.
Mayern- You give me hope since your lines were so light like mine at 11dpo. I hope this gets darker but I'm not getting my hopes up too much because I have been having light cramping for a few days now and I'm not sure what that means, hopefully implantation but it could be impending AF.

and as you saw with the ICs... it took them way longer to become obviously positive. So if they dont turn darker faster do NOT worry.
And as for the cramps...
Im 10 weeks along and STILL get times where I feel like AF will be coming any minute.

Jen, you might try an Answer test. I took my other FRER pink wrapper this morning FMU (although I peed during the night about 4 hrs before), and it seemed pretty darn negative to me. I didn't drink anything, held pee for a couple more hours, and took an Answer test (in the Walmart bathroom
), and it was fairly light, but clearly pink and a BFP! I also took a Dollar Tree, which MIGHT have had a ghost of a line but possibly was just negative, but the Answer didn't require any squinting at all.

Thanks, Jen. Best wishes for you tests later today! I think some women (including me) tend to have better results with non-fmu. I'm remembering now that w/ dd2, I got a faint BFP around 10dpo, then nothing the next morning with fmu, both FRER tests. Later that second afternoon, I got a clear positive on an Answer test.
Keep us posted! Crossing my fingers for you!

Mae- Where did you get your ICs from? In the past I have never had any lines on the IC I had unless I was PG but I have heard that they are known for false lines (obviously yours weren't)
I was just wondering. I got mine from babywishes and I have been trying to see if I can find any info on other people getting shadow lines that never became a BFP.
I broke down and tested again( that's the trouble with buying ICs in bulk) still getting shadows but this one may be a bit darker. I don't know I really should just avoid the bathroom for a few days and test on friday. i feel so crazy!

i tested several times before TTC to be sure they didnt give me evaps (even shadows)
then when I kept getting the shadows... I used water on one to compare it.

to clarify because I didnt state so... the ones I tested before TTC came up without even the faintest shadow evap line... which is what had me questioning the shadows to begin with.
if you dont think water is reliable (for whatever reason but seriously your pee is mostly water....) you could also have DH pee for one lol.

Ok so good to know. These ICs give lines even with water. The first one I did went all crazy streaky and the second one showed a line that even had color in it. It's fading as it dries. I am sad and realize my shadows are probably nothing but I am still only 10dpo so it's not over yet, right! Anyway, i think I will continue to use the IC but only trust a strong line and throw the rest away if AF shows next monday. I will have to look for some other tests. I will have to try savontests or I heard the wondfo were good. Everyone stay away from babywishes ICs they are really mean!
