Maybe I won't use the digi tomorrow just a FRER and a IC and see the diffrence in color. I will wait to use the digi on monday when FF gave me my official test date. FX crossed for darker lines tomorrow

3boobykins- A line is a line. I read it can take 48-72 hours for HCG to double in a healthy pregnancy. If there is a line on both don't worry too much about the color it is still really early.

AFM, I'm concerned because I had that unmistakable positive on the Answer test 2 days ago, tested w/ another Answer the next day, and it was lighter, also uber light this morning on an Answer, and I picked up another FRER, also very light--this morning's Answer and FRER look pretty much the same--TINY hint of pink. Since the lines are basically the same on both tests, I don't think they could be evaps. I'm just hoping that the 11dpo Answer was just freakishly sensitive and my pee was extra-concentrated. I've still got two FRER's, 2 Answers, and one Dollar Tree test to pee on. I have to stop spending money on tests, though, and now I wish I'd just stopped testing when I got the clear BFP two days ago. Hoping I can at least hold out until tomorrow, if now Sunday.

What an emotional roller coaster this is!

Thanks for the encouragement, Jen! For some reason I'm feeling really optimistic. A mama on another thread shared a similar experience with a more clear, then less clear, then negative, but ultimately positive series of tests, and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby--very encouraging!

I think I'm dealing with a difference in hydration and individual test sensitivity. I doubt I would get 4 pink-tinged evaps in a row. I'm holding out for tomorrow, and might even make myself wait until Sunday--but that will be a major challenge!

BFP for sure!!!!

I just took a FRER witholding for 2 hrs and it has a faint pink line within the first few minutes, I couldn't really see anything yesterday I thought maybe a shadow but when i took it out of the case I couldn't see it. I don't even have to remove this one form the case. I can see it. i am so excited. i believe it now since I am getting a faint pink line on FRER. I am going to take the digi on sunday and give it to DH

grats... and see? sometimes those shadows really aren't evaps

they definitely weren't for me and now its apparent they weren't for you either!

An all out YAY! Congratulations, Jen!

I took another look at my FRER from today in natural light after NOT obsessively looking at it for awhile, and realized yeah, it's definitely PINK and not all that much lighter than the clearly positive Answer of two days ago. So I'm feeling pretty POSITIVE here, too!

YAY!!! Boobykins for both of us I am so excited so now for a sticky bean. We lost a baby girl between my 2 boys and a reader told me she would come back to me. I am hoping this is her soul. I got pregnant with her in February of '07 and now I am pregnant again in February 2010. The due date for her was Nov 5th and this baby is due Oct 31st. so close. We were going to Hawaii that summer before I lost her and I had bought a maternity bathing suit and a dress (I have never worn) I hope I get to wear it this summer since we are planning on going to Hawaii again. We haven't been there since then and that is where I conceived my rainbow baby DS2. This is so meant to be. i am a strong believer in signs and I feel really good about this baby

Jen--Sounds like perfect timing, and that this baby was very much meant to be for you and your family. I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter, and love the idea that this baby could be her coming back to you.

AFM--Well, I'm still not sure. I took a FRER and a $Tree w/the same FMU this morning, and both were BFN. I'm really, really hoping this was because I drank a lot of water last night and diluted my pee. I'm going to avoid any liquids this morning and test in about 4 hrs. I still kind of feel like everything is going to be okay, but I'm very perplexed. It seems like after getting a clear BFP at 11 dpo that I shouldn't be getting negatives at this point, but I know it can happen and still have a good outcome.

3boobykins- Just give it time. I thought I would have darker lines today too and they are about the same. IC is darker but the Answer looks the same. I am going to wait till monday when AF is late before I test again and give the HCG time to double and become stronger. Look back at Maeryn Pearls ICs it took quite a few days before they got stronger and she has a strong healthy baby growing. Are there still lines at all this morning? Try again in 4 hrs like you said some women have better luck in the afternoon.

Definitely no line on the $Tree, maybe an uber-uber faint line on the FRER, but I could be seeing things. I really hope all the water I drank last night just diluted the hcg, since it's still early. I haven't been drinking much water at all, so my water consumption last night was a significant change from the last couple of days. I know that can really affect things this early on. I'm going to test in a couple of hours--that will be 4 hrs. from this morning's test. I SHOULD probably wait at least a day, but I don't think I can! I am 14 DPO today, and really expected to see a line this morning at least as dark as yesterday's SMU FRER. I have a 16 day LP, so AF is not due until Tuesday.

I'll update in a couple of hours. Just trying to breath through this...

Verrrrry faint lines on Answer and FRER a bit ago. So clearly I am better off testing later in the day. I don't know what to think at this point. At least there is something there. I believe I am pregnant, but the lightening lines do concern me--I know it could be hydration as well as the sensitivity of each test, but I know it could also end up being a chemical pregnancy. So I think I'm in wait-and-see mode right now. I'm so hoping this works out, though!

3boobykins, for now you are pregnant. Just go with that and allow yourself to be happy. What will be is going to be no matter what at this point. I have all my crossables crossed for a super sticky bean. (I do know how frustrating and hard this is. I had a similar experience in November. 5 days of light bfp's, then a bfn, then late af.) There are too many factors to have a clearer picture right now.

Thank you so much for your kind words. They mean a lot. You're right, it will be what it will be, so I might as well stop this insane testing and just let AF (or early m/c) begin, or not. I'm prepared either way.

3boobykins- I agree with momtoallh, There is no use getting worried about something you can do nothing about. Right now you are PG and until there is reason to seem otherwise try to enjoy it

Thanks, Jen! Yes, I AM pregnant right now, and I am going to quietly enjoy each moment of it. I have 7 faint but POSITIVE tests to prove it, after all!
I also realized that with my other three kids, once I tested positive the first time I stopped testing. So no more HPT's for me until AF is late--I have one Answer test left, and will save it to take once I know I can get a clear positive to save as a keepsake.

Thanks so much for all the lovely support, mamas!
