Brushing 1 yr old's teeth

I've been using a cloth to wipe DD's teeth, but think I need to get serious about brushing them. Should I use toothpaste? If so, should I be worried about flouride? There were two choices at Target - Tom's of Maine with flouride and Sesame Street orajel without flouride. I really don't want to use the Sesame Street junk!
