Is your bely bigger on one side then the other?

When I look at my belly it seems like one side is a little bigger and stick out a bit more. I'm 11 weeks now. Does it mean anything at all? Does it mean the baby isn't where it should be? I'm probably past the point where this could be ectopic right?

I'm not sure what it means so early in the pregnancy, but I am 33 weeks and have noticed a HUGE lopsided difference for months now. My girl always, always hangs out on the right side. So I don't think it's anything to worry about - probably just the way your organs are positioned, where the baby and placenta are. I'd ask your care provider for reassurance, but mine didn't seem worried (and I mean, other people can see how lopsided it is from the outside!).

I've always been really lopsided like this:

I don't look that drastic because I've got a nice little pudge roll south of my belly button to even things out, but the top half of my belly definitely has always stuck out way farther. No cute basketball belly here

At 11 weeks your uterus is filling your pelvis and only starting to come past the pubic bone (not your hips, the bone way below your belly button). To me, any lopsidedness would be your internal organs in funny places, not baby.

I agree that at 11 weeks, it is organs or bloating that is making the belly lopsided, which is normal. DS always lived on one side of my uterus, he was in a C position which made for a lopsided belly.
