Anyone heard of this? I guess its a capsule of fermented fish and other fermented seaweed product that is supposed to heal your gut. What it has been used for is stopping migraines which they claim is from leaky gut while it heals you intestines.

I think this is it? Intriguing. I wonder if it's any more effective than taking fermented clo and eating probiotic foods, along w/ various greens...Sounds cool though.

Maybe ask in the allergies forum? The liver support formula looks very interesting/supportive as well.

ETA: I really really like the 'gut brain therapy' idea. Makes me think of GAPS (gut and psychology syndrome) and just the connection between the gut and everything else. The products are quite pricey though. I'd be interested in learning if they impacted any other conditions (other than migraines) in a positive manner...

nak, so I haven't clicked on the link yet -- but I have Seacure, which is similar and has many many folks with IBS saying they can eat again...

mbravebird, have you seen any results from taking seacure? I'm always interested in things that support/heal the gut and, in turn, the immune system...

I took it for about a week recently, and then had some major intestinal changes for the worse -- stinky poops, lots of gas, and constipation. I also had increased my water kefir by about double at the same time that I started taking the pills. I wasn't sure what to think. I decided to just cut way back on everything, and let my intestines settle. They don't seem to be settling, honestly. I'm still in assessment mode now, but I can't really think about it too much because my babe is teething and I'm sleep-deprived -- you know how your brain just goes on auto?

Everything I've heard is so positive, so I find it hard to believe that it would cause harm, and I also wonder if it moblized some "gunky" stuff that would normally be stuck to the walls of my intestines. I also wonder if my water kefir got some off-type of bacteria, because the bubbles on it look a little different than usual.

In the back of my head, I'm wondering if I should wait until the spring, when I have fresh plantain to help soothe the intestinal walls, to try it again. I haven't had time to really think about it, though, due to the sleep deprivation. And it could all be the water kefir. I just don't know. Any thoughts?
