Staying logged in...

Is there a way to stay signed in longer? I feel like I have to sign in every 20 minutes because I automatically get logged out and then every time to log back in I have to type in all my info. again. I am not sure if that is just how it is or if there is something I can do to fix it?! TIA!

Hello!

Are you clicking on the "remember me" box when you are logging in?

If it isn't letting you stay logged in even with that box you might make sure your browser is set up to accept cookies.

If that isn't helping you should delete your cookies and clear your cache.

Let me know if you need help with any of that.

This has been a problem for me for several weeks now and I read about others having trouble too. I alkways check the remember me box but something changed here awhile back--I now get pop-ups from this site only and didn't before...

It has something to do with firefox. It was happening to me too then I switched to safari.

I too have just started having the staying logged in issues. I have been connecting via my blackberry for the past 9 months and haven't had an issue with staying logged in until a few days ago. When I do use a computer I am on firefox and have also been getting the netflix and another pop up as well, even when logged on.

That only happens to me when I am inactive as in not making any post or viewing threads.

If it is related to firefox then you might need to clear your browser cache.

We are running pop up ads at the moment. It isn't something anyone really likes but it was necessary.

To clear the cache on a blackberry

hit the menu button while the browser is opened
Scroll down to options
Select *cache*


Let me know if that helps or not.

Staying logged in should not be related to lack of activity.

Well in my case it is related to activity as when I am busy posting and browsing the thread i am not logged out. However if I am not active and probably browsing another website and I return to this website to resume browsing it logs me out.
