I took Alive whole food vitamins. They are not prenatal specific but they had everything I was looking for in a multi. I supplemented on top of that and would have whether it was prenatal specific or not.

I take New Chapter prenatal (in Canada it's called For Two but I think it's got a different name in the US maybe Perfect?). yup here's the info
http://www.newchapter.com/products/perfect-prenatal

It's organic whole foods three a day and it hasn't made me feel sick even if I don't eat more than a snack with them. They came highly recommended so I tried them and have stuck with them. I am usually only taking 2 a day though.

I do supplement with other vitamins (which I'd also do no matter what) ie krill, probiotic, D3, C/bioflavinoids, cal/mag, E, now I've started drinking that iron stuff (something vita?). I didn't like some of the other choices I had because of them using Vit A instead of Beta Carotene (not much of a reason but it helped me decide) though some people might not like the soy in this one, it's fermented which is supposed to be the good kind.

I take Omega 3, cranberry tablets (for utis), probiotics (utis), and D3 every day as well. But then I live in Alaska, and it's Feb.

I take Green Pasture's Fermented Cod Liver Oil, Garden of Life probiotics, and supplement with a cal/mag/zinc as well as folic acid. I also consider my raw milk, fresh squeezed OJ and pregnancy tea to be whole foods supplements.

I second the New Chapter prenatals. I have a history of severe GERD and they don't bother my stomach at all. I like that they are whole food and that your urine doesn't turn bright yellow after you take them, making me think that they are better absorbed.

I also use New Chapter

I do take some other supplements as well - D3, CLO, cal/mag OR just mag (natural calm)....sometimes some others but those are my dailies.

I take the complete prenatal system from Rainbow Light. They are whole food vitamins + probiotics, which I figure I need due to morning sickness. You are supposed to take 6 each day, but I usually only do 3. They seem alright, but are rather large. On the plus side, I never feel quesy after taking one, so that's good.

I'm doing New Chapter and I am definitely won over on this. I balked at the price but will be back for more.

I take these too - 3 in the am and 3 at night. I bought the small bottle from WF to see if I liked them .. but then I ordered online for about 1/2 the price.

So far I really like them and while they have a pretty raunchy aftertaste when you swallow, they don't upset my stomach and I feel good on them.

I know that they aren't "whole food" per se, but I've taken Whole Foods 365 prenatal for 2 pregnancies and I really like them. They never made me sick and I like that it's only 1 a day. I also that they have extra's like raspberry leaf extract and spirulina. Also, they fit my budget

I was taking Rainbow Lite 1 a day prenatal, but could not deal with the constipation that the iron caused. I was eating Bran Buds every morning, prunes, etc. and there was no relief until I stopped taking the prenatal w/iron.

I'm now using floradix liquid iron to deal with my borderline anemia and I just bought Super Nutrition Simply One Women Iron Free. We'll see how this goes.

Vitamins/supplements are always an overwhelming subject for me. It seems everyone had a different opinion and there are so many choices out there; none of them inexpensive.

I take Mother To Be by Pure Essence Labs whole food prenatal. I took them during my last pregnancy. Then after the birth of my son I switched to Mother And Child by Pure Essence Labs whole food Post Natal vitamin to support me while BFing. I stayed on those for 2 years then switched back to the prenatal for my next (current) pregnancy.

I like the Rainbow Light Prenatal One a Day. I can never seem to remember to take a second dose later in the day (which many other good vitamin require), so the once a day prenatal works well for me. I also supplement on top of that with a probiotic, fish oil (I especially make sure I'm on this one when pregnant and breastfeeding for the DHA), and a good liquid cal-mag-zinc. My cal-mag supplement also has vitamin D included in it, which is important for the absorption of the calcium. The fact that it's a liquid also helps immensely with absorption.

another vote for New Chapter. They are the best prenatals I have taken and I am on baby #3. Easy to swallow, no funky smell, absorbed really easy....and only 3 a day
