Whole Food Prenatal Vitamins - Page 2

Anyone in Canada know where I can find Megafood Baby and Me prenatals online for less than our local HFS price of $80/month.

Currently also taking New Chapter for $40/month, which seems like a great deal to me! But they contain corn, which is a big source of concern for me.

I really like Megafood "Baby and Me" and their "Blood Builder." So mild on the body and truly absorbed. This is the first pregnancy (my 3rd) where I didn't have iron deficiencies or prenatal pill-induced nausea. www.iherb.com has a good price on both. I have a $5 off coupon code if you need one.

I liked the Buried Treasure liquid Pre-N, a lot gentler on my sensative stomach!

Agreed 100%, no bad taste, no upset stomach, etc.

Edit to add I also was getting calcium from elsewhere (Rolaids now lol) and supplement fish oil as well.

I took the 365 for about a week but stopped because they were just too big and stinky. I couldn't handle it

I also take Rainbow Light One a Day.

I was looking for DHA sources- anybody try THIS one??

I like the fact that they test for mercury. Not so crazy about 'natural' strawberry flavor.

My concern with fish oils is that you don't know if they are regulated for mercury!

I just bought the New Chapter's the other day and I swear they cured my morning sickness. I've felt amazing since I started taking them.

This environmental group sent for information from a lot of brands:

thanks, that was useful!

As an aside- anybody try Nordic Naturals DHA? I was in whole foods and their label says that their product is 3rd party tested for heavy metals.

That's what I'm using, per my MW recommendation. But I didn't verify anything as far as mercury content (just took her word for it).

I'm also taking Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals, cranberry, B vitamins, and chlorophyll (just started the chlorophyll). I find the raw prenatals are much much easier on my stomach that regular prenatals.
