Night time diapering

I'm nervous to jump back into the night time cloth diapering.

DS is 26 months old and we gave up cloth around 1 year ago when the rashes started and stayed due to a coin-op washer with no options made it impossible to get a clean diaper. It was awful on his little bum. Now I'm a bit worried about the night time diapering.

I feel like I've been out of the diaper loop for a long time. So what should I be getting him for night time? He's a skinny guy, he barely fits into medium FBs(and I'd like to keep my FBs for day time use). So what would you suggest for basic night time diapering?

Eta: Any help or suggestions? :/

If you want to keep everything simple you can go with some prefolds and covers. I like wool and you can get some upcycled wool for cheap on Etsy.com. I use a hemp pf trifolded with a joeybunz stuffed into a pocket for overnight. But you can easily do cotton pf's. You will want to make sure you have enough absorbency so if you went with all pf's then you will prob want to trifold & add a joeybunz inside another pf wrapped around baby.

My son is 26 mo too. When he was younger, and nursed all night I had to really stuff him up good for nighttime.
Now I throw a regular bumgenius onesize pocket on him with the regular microfiber insert and he never leaks, b/c he doesnt nurse all night anymore.

I agree with Erin - if he isn't nursing all night, a pocket diaper may be fine, and something cut narrow through the crotch should fit well. Maybe a medium BumGenius 3.0 AIO.

If getting things thoroughly cleaned is still a bit of an issue... I would think pockets would be an easy way to go.. and then stuff them with a flat or something that easily washes clean. You could do hemp flats or (way more economical! and fun too!) birdseye flats
