Well I've been noticing those kind of butterflies today. Is that the baby?

It's possible, a lot of women describe those first movements as flutters and butterflies!

They rush over my whole body though just the way I remember it when falling in love or having a new crush. They sorta start in the belly then wave all the way up to my chest and out of my body.

maybe its just the way you are feeling about coming to terms with being pregnant? Also... you haven't cut sodium out of your diet have you? I had heart flutters with DD and was told I needed more sodium.

however your first kicks will feel something like butterflies/a fishy swimming/a kitty hitting just above your pelvis with its tail

since its your first you arent likely to feel it for at least another month if not two or three more... many second and third time moms dont even feel it yet at 11 weeks.

Yeah, i agree with MaerynPearl. You may just be strarting to feel excited. I remember with my first pregnancy, I had waves like that, but it was like, out of joy.

I didn't feel my first until about 17 weeks and it felt like little bubbles.
