The dentist confirmed the cavities are healed!! - Page 2

Peacemamalove,

Can you find a local grass fed dairy for butter? The best time is in spring and fall when grass grows the fastest, then the butter is exponentially higher in vitamin K2. I freeze our grassfed butter from those times. If you cannot find, I would do fish roe or High Vitamin Butter Oil from Green Pasture http://www.greenpasture.org/retail/?t=products.

I do not know of any local sources. I have thought about making my own with the milk we get but haven't tried it yet.

I went to the Kerry Gold website and the claim they sell it at Shaws and pricechopper . Though I am pretty sure I have never seen it there unless it is hidden in some section I am missing.

I might just contact Kerry gold and see if they can tell me which stores or try making my own.

We are taking high vitamin butter oil should I not worry about taking both?

In my Shaw's, Kerrygold is mixed in with the specialty and imported cheese section, a special display near the produce, not with the other butter.

But yes, high vitamin butter oil has plenty of K2. I would do 3x per day if active cavities are present. And HVCLO.

P.S. grassfed cheese is also a good source of K2 as the fermentation process produces even more than is present in the milk. We usually do some from our local dairy, but Kerrygold's Dubliner cheese is fantastic!

Well Shaws had some Kerrygold cheeses but no butter they said they discountined it to that Shaws?

So I checked Price Chopper in there speciality cheese section and Found the Kerry Gold butter.

JaneS the KerryGold Dubliner cheese is AMAZING it is sooooo good. Thank you so much!!

My kids get rashes from meat, and only the best quality was tolerable. And even too much meat would cause terrible constipation too. If they had skin issues imagine what their insides were like. Plus my kids have a high need for beans and greens and if my dd was given meat, she wouldn't touch anything else. I just found that like JaneS said, it is muscle meat that we ate sparingly, and mainly ate liver or we would get a whole chicken and eat all of it, and make bone broths too.

I got it really cheap a while back at a discount food store for $3 a lb in Burlington, VT. Price chopper carries it at the specialty cheese area, and Shaws doesn't carry it anymore, but I am working on them ordering it especially for me. I will hear back fro them soon about that. Costco has Dublinar cheese really cheap, but they can't get the butter for me.

How many did you give her a day?

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is it. I give 1-3 a day depending on how much other K-2 (kerrygold) we consume and calcium. I always give additional magnesium since there isn't enough in that.

Where did you get the Pascalite Clay I looked at UNFI and Frontier and didn't see it (I order there regularly so I checked them first) I'm guessing I'll have to order online. Where is the cheapest? or best?

I got the clay from www.pascalite.com. They have one finer ground for teeth, but I don't see any difference in the powders once they are wet on the tooth brush.

Update

I went the the dentist for a cleaning and I havent been there for a ling time, several years. The hygenist said that I had basically no tartar, and it shocked her at how clean my teeth were. She did find one cavity that I knew about that I have been working on healing, but I knew it may not since it is next to and under a mercury filing. But I did have another one that was not next to an old filing and it was healed over. It is still sensitive since it is close to the gum line, but it doesn't require any filings!!

This has taken alot longer than my 2 yr olds teeth, but kids can heal much faster.

what lactose based cell salts did you use and how did you use them?

What else did you do? My baby's first dentist gouged a hole in the front of one of her teeth (he planned on capping it anyway) and it has left a brown spot.

This is wonderful news - thank you for sharing it!! Our dentists - even our WPF-friendly no-mercury family dentist! - claimed there is no such thing as "secondary dentin" when I asked if there was any evidence of it on ds' cavities. Is that what your dentist found on your cavities - the "secondary dentin"?

I really think that my dd's teeth issues are connected with her leaky gut. We are working on lots of gut healing and I hope that is the turning point with having to excess in getting nutrients into her.

nettle infusion

Can you tell me about the nettle infusions? How much nettle? how long to steep?

Also, my kiddo is sensitive to milk and I think she had secondary lactose intolerance as a baby. She basically had diarhea the first 14 months of her life even though I had cut out milk. I am hesitant to even add it butter but I do think the butter oil would be okay.

Any suggestions for non-dairy healing?

thanks

We are dairy free besides the kerrygold ghee. We only use that for the Vitamin K2 which is very important. Butter oil may be fine if the dairy allergy is not severe. The body can convert K1 to K2, but our bodies don't do it very easily and we need way more if trying to heal. Grass fed, free range animal products have loads of K2 as well as natto (I have never tried it so don't ask how it tastes or even how tp get it, but do share if you know)

What we do non dairy is deep bone broths, nettles infusions, TONS of greens, and if we still need some minerals, we take a supplement.

The way I personally make nettles infusions is a little different than the herbalist Susun Weed. She says to put one ounce (by weight) in 1 qt boiling water and steep for 8 hours. I use 1 heaping tablespoon per cup and steep for 4 hours. Do whatever feels right to you. I make green smoothies and use this as the base. My 2 yr dd asks for nettles and loves it chilled.

For greens, we find one excellent way to get as much as we can is to steam them, and we can easily eat a cup at a time or more.

You think it hurts the nettles to warm them a bit on the stove? I like it warm I'm so curious about the clay! I may have to try it

So...

How long did it take?

My almost 2 yr old has extensive tooth decay, and is scheduled for GA. I would love save some of her teeth.

I know that if you boil the nettles, it can ruin some vitamins. I don't see anything wrong with heating it up gently.

I don't pack the clay for myself anymore asI found it was irritating to the gums and I have to treat my gums with care as they are sensitive. I still brush with it though.

It only took a few months to see a difference. Still our teeth weren't severe. You could start a thread and see if you could get some specific help that you need as everyone is difference. There are alot of helpful mamas out there. I know many swear by xylitol for bad decay, but I never and don't plan on using it. But I heard it is good for stopping it in its tracks.
