My grandmother passed away last year and my then four year old and 14 mo went to the funeral. They have a nursery in the church and I asked them if they wanted to go to the service or to play in the nursery. They played in the nursery. After the service we had refreshments and they got the opportunity to see many family members they had not seen before. Also, my cousin brought her 3 month old to the service. He nursed during the service.
