Simple Solid Colored Shirts

Thread Starter
DS is wearing about size 3T these days and I'm having a hard time finding simple, single colored shirts. Everything has trucks or sports on it, yuck. Any suggestions of good, relatively inexpensive solid or striped short sleeved shirts?

LL bean and lands end kids collections both have some selections with just solids or stripes.

Target's store brand Cherokee offers a lot of different colored solid shirts (and a bunch with stripes.) They cost around $5.99 a shirt I think.

Lands end for sure. They are good quality and hold up/wash well. They do not stain as other cheaper fabrics I've noticed

If you google "blank t-shirts" you'll come up with sites like this.

Walmart has in the past had solid colored tees. Usually $3.50. They had long ones for winter, so I am sure they will have short sleeved ones too. At all of ours, they are folded on a higher shelf rack, one side girls the other boys. They seem to be good quality. I found some short sleeved solid ones at The Children's Place last year also.

It is hard to find solid colors though, I will agree with you. We love prints for short sleeves, but I prefer solid long sleeve as I layer.

Craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby usually has them. Look in the aisles with patches and fabric paint.

We just ordered some stuff from this site. Shipping was FAST. They made a small mistake in our order and emailed a pre-paid label and shipped the replacement shirts really quick. And they are cheap, too.

They have free (or very close to free) shipping sales pretty frequently.

I've had good luck finding things on Lands End's overstocks page, which usually brings the price down to about Target's regular price. LE stuff has held up well for me.

American Apparel is another option.
