Bronchitis in baby

Thread Starter
I have acute bronchitis, and it is MISERABLE. I've tried desperately not to spread the germs to my three kids (especially not the baby, and not my two older kids because they will give it to the baby). But my 6-month-old son didn't sleep at all last night and this morning has the same cough I do.
Medication doesn't make ME feel any better... what the heck should I do to help him??? He has a vaporizer in his room and I give him Tylenol when he seems unhappy, but he isn't able to breathe very well and is really raspy and wheezing.

He probably needs meds to open things up especially if he is wheezing. Albuterol in a nebulizer is often what is given. If a baby is wheezing then he really needs to be seen unless you have the equipment and knowledge to do it yourself. Good luck. We just went through it with my 9 month old, after 5-6 days of nebs around the clock, he was doing better.
