very sick 10mo

My 10 mo is very sick with fever, coughing, and runny nose. It really just started yesterday so I'm not too concerned yet. The fever is probably 102 or 103. I haven't taken his temp, but can kind of tell by feeling him. My question is, is there anything natural I can do to help those things and what can I do to strengthen his immune system? I am still nursing him and I am taking vitamin c, vitamin d, and garlic. Thanks for all replies

Keep an ear out for the cough. My kids go from 0-severe wheezing in no time. He may just have a virus. My 15 month old is getting over one now, that I had to treat with TLC and a nebby (albuterol) I know you said natural, but I don't mess around when it comes to the breathing issues. Hes on a treatment every 4 hours, has been since tuesday afternoon, and by wednesday morning he sounded 85% better. He is now about 95% better. Nose still runny, but fever went away all on its own in about 6 hours. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I went ahead and took him to the dr. They said he is fine and it's probably a virus. I ended up getting him some sambucus (sp) stuff at whole foods. I am going to start another thread too because i would love to know of a book that deals in child herbs. Thanks again. I'm still up for suggestions on immune boosting stuff for little ones.
