LeapFrog Explorer Smart Globe

I have a confession to make. I covet this. I covet it hard. But there is no way I can shell out that much money. I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper alternative or if anyone had had good luck with finding one for cheap on ebay, etc. I don't normally buy electronics gadgets, they don't get played with mostly, but I've heard rave reviews about this particular one, especially from other homeschoolers! So I thought I'd ask.

That's so strange! I went to the Amazon page that you linked to, and the top said I purchased it on February 2, 2009. I knew the Leapfrog globe was the absolute first homeschooling tool I purchased, but I didn't think I spent $250! So I clicked on the link to my order for that product, and I paid only $99.99.
