Has anyone HBAC with hemorrhoids?

I know this is an off the wall question, but this past week I've developed thrombosed hemorrhoids.
I've done a ton of mental prep for a hbac, and was very much at a place where I felt I trusted my body and what it would do for me, but now I am more worried about the hemorrhoids rupturing or being even more painful that an actual labor/vaginal delivery.
(I'm 36 weeks, so I can't do anything but sitz baths, and topical solutions).

Im having a vbac and have the same fears.
My only advice is to eat nothing but raw veggies, protein, and lots of fruit.
No sugar or dairy.
Ive had this problem for 8 yrs on and off and its the only way Ive ever managed to make them go back in.

Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. I had thrombosed hemorrhoids with my first pregnancy so I understand your fears.

Are you saying they will not remove/drain them because you are too far along? That would be my first choice. Barring that, I would probably not hesitate to HBAC with the right assistance.

I did get hemorrhoids again (not thrombosed) with my second pregnancy. Though I had to transfer to the hospital, I did VBAC and my midwife's nurse held warm compresses on the hemorrhoids when I pushed because she was concerned about them. The compresses really helped, and they did not rupture. I am not sure how this would work in your case but it's worth talking about. If it helps to know this, I was not aware of them during the labor/pushing process.

Good luck.
