Creative Winter Play for 11 mo old?

DD is not so much into toys, so I'm looking for creative game/play ideas for her. She's not quit at the finger paint and play dough stage. This far into winter I've run out of ideas. We do get out every day for a walk in the snowy woods, which she LOVES. She would be happy to do that all day Inside she wants me to hold her hand and let her walk around the house and explore. This is fun to a point, but its getting old. We listen to music. I bring bowls of snow inside for her to play. I 've been setting up forts which she's into for a moment. What else could we do?

Around that age (and still now, at 19 months) a few things that kept my daughter occupied are:

--Packing and unpacking the recycling bins...she had a blast "sorting" all the cardboard, papers, and empty bottles and cans. in the kitchen while I cooked.

--Got out a box of pictures for her to look through, and we went over who everyone in all the pictures was.

--Along the same lines as your snow idea, once when we were stuck inside all day during bad weather, I cooked a bowl of spaghetti, rinsed in cold water, and sat her on a blanket with the bowl. She spent about an hour playing with it, mashing it in her hair, etc. Bathing her and vacuuming the floor together kept us busy for another hour afterward.
