I'm about to buy an ergo. I have been using home-sewn mei teis, and want something more structured that is great for back carries. I love the look of the ergo, and that it has lots of padding everywhere. I want to use the ergo for long-distance strolls around town, and hikes.
But I am 5'3, around 110 lbs and have a tiny waist. From browsing around the web, I see that some petite mamas don't love the ergo. The thing is, ergo says that the waist band is OK for 25" and up, and all their gallery pictures involve tiny, slim mamas modelling the ergo. That seems to indicate that the ergo would be perfect for me!
I don't live in the US and this will probably be my only commercial, non home-made carrier I will own, and once I receive it, I definitely won't feel like returning it (long-distance shipping and associated costs, and all that!) and neither will the retailer feel like taking it back, I am sure! I'm just looking for some confirmation that slim and short mamas can use the ergo with no problems, I guess. FTR, my kids are 3,5 and 1 yo and I am hoping to be able to use the ergo for both of them.
Thanks for any input!

but I'm 5'4" and have a lot of room to cinch down still. The Ergo is hands down my favorite carrier after the infant stage.
