Need some help with ideas

I am currently a very full G cup (36 band) and I am due in August. I orignially thought a wrap was the way to, but I keep reading about how hot they are. I had a ring sling with my ds, but it was uncomfortable for me to wear, lacked support, and my ds hated it. With my large chest, is a wrap the best option? Am I right to be concerned about the heat aspect? Does anyone have other ideas for me to look into?

You might consider a mei tai. They're great for newborns, but can be used with bigger babies, too. Less fabric means they're cooler but they're still two-shouldered for ergonomics and for having your hands free.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is their a specific mei tai you might suggest?

I used a "homemade" wrap (fabric from Hobby Lobby cut in half long ways) and it wasn't hot at all. I think it depends on the fabric type. If you make your own, you can pick how breathable the material is. I bought cotton, tshirt like fabric. I didn't find it hot at all, and I'm in Austin, where last summer it got well over 100 degrees for a record number of days. Also, my son was 10-14 months old during the summer, so it was a lot to lug around.

Another friend of mine bought a fleece like material for a wrap, yeah, that was the wrong idea....just make sure it somewhat gives and is a little stretching to cradle baby well and be comfortable for you.

Here is a video on the type of wrap I use, it's not a lot of fabric either.

I was just looking at the gypsy mama (wrapsody) baltic breeze, which is supposed to be a very breathable gauzy fabric. Anyone opinions on that one?

I wonder if I could find a breezy gauzy fabric at the fabric store...

The bali baby is nice and thin. You could pick out something similar and make your own too, but I love their fabric. I couldn't get the hang of a wrap, so I made it into a mei tai, but it was nice light material for spring in Az.

I keep thinking I could just make my own, but I am really not motivated to do any projects right now. I'd kinda just like to buy it and stop stressing about it. I'm only 15 weeks (almost!) and I feel like the few things I do need to get I just want to buy and be done with it.
