how would you get latex paint out of a wool shirt

Help! I just ordered a bunch of those really expensive organic wool/silk clothes for my toddler and new baby-to-be. I was painting my bedroom with regular old latex eggshell paint, and I guess my daughter bumped into the wet wall- the whole arm of the shirt has paint dried on it. It won't come out just washing, and I'm afraid to scrub it and felt it all up. Any ideas? Too bad lanolin doesn't wick paint!

Try vodka or nail polish remover on a hidden spot. If ok, dab dab dab, blot blot blot - do not rub, smear or in any way move the paint around, it will make it worse. Nail polish remover got dried (like 3 weeks old) paint out of my carpet.

Wow, I'll have to remember the nail polish remover hint. I've never been able to get dried latex paint out of any type of fabric.

Did you try the suggestions OP? Did it work?

I did try the nail polish remover- I saturated the paint with it and still couldn't get it out, but then I used some lanolin soap and water on top and just rubbed really gently and it slowly came out most of the way. Thanks for the tips!
