Natural or open minded parenting book rec for first time mom?

Just wondering what books any of the seasoned moms on here would recommend for info on baby's first year or the toddler years etc. This is my first, so I'm eager to read more as well as few good things on the shelf for reference at 2:00 AM... but I don't necessarily want a book that is telling me how you HAVE to vaccinate XYZ at this month etc. I'd love to hear what books you've found helpful!

Not a how to book but I loved Our Babies, Ourselves by Meredith Small.

FYI - Dr Sears is pro vaccine. If I recall correctly, he is in favor of spacing them out.
If you would like to read more in depth about vaccination, I recommend What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations by Dr. Stephanie Cave
How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor by Dr. Robert Mendelsohn

My "baby" is 5.5yo now so it's been a while since I have read up. I recall these books being very interesting and informative.

Good luck!
