2 year old wants to nurse all the time!

My dd just turned 2 last month and it seems like she is nursing more now than ever before. All the time day and night, she was going all night long and not waking to nurse until about 5 or 6 in the morning . Now all it is all she wants and nothing else.

I want nothing more than to nurse her but this is becoming excessive and I am feeling so overwhelmed.

It sounds like you need to set some limits. She is old enough to understand waiting. Choose what works for you and stick to it. My DS has had an ebb and flow to how much he wants to nurse, and he's a bit over 2 and unless he's sick or something I generally keep it to morning wake-up and going to sleep times (and if supper is late!). Sometimes he wants more, but generally something else can satisfy him. A snuggle. A drink. Something to eat. A book together.

I agree I think there has to be some limits as it seems she has been having full control.

Things have been hectic here lately and I have been kinda pre-occupied with many things so maybe that also has something to do with it.. Maybe she is just needing more mama time.
