SPD and chiropractic

Does anyone have experience with this?

I started taking my infant dd to a chiro to help with reflux/weight gain. While he and I were talking, he mentioned how unsolved issues as infants can present differently as they get older - often sensory integration issues or (possibly misdiagnosed) adhd. This got me thinking about ds (5), who had reflux as an infant and now has OE's or possible SPD (not dx'd). This chiropractor has special training in sensory integration and has since suggested it for ds (of course).

I'd be all over this idea, except that I don't even know that we can afford it for dd and I'm certain we can't afford it for ds at this time. Can anyone tell me of their experience? Was it helpful or not? More or less than OT? TIA

My DD has sensory issues (not diagnosed, but chiro thinks she has SPD) and was just diagnosed with ADHD. We have been seeing a chiro weekly for about a month or so. Sometimes I think it's helping, other times not. We're just starting out and are going to give it a good try.
