BFP, but super low progesterone?

I posted earlier this week about the RE telling me I didn't O this month based on my cd20 progesterone level of 1.6

Got a BFP on cd31. And the nurse just called with results of my HCG and progesterone drawn on cd32.

HCG 150
progesterone 12.7 (drawn before I started supplementing with prometrium that night)

So from what I can figure out, I O'd late, on cd 17 or 18 probably. Going in today to repeat HCG and progesterone. Still wondering what a prog of 1.6 means at 2-3 dpo? Hoping this pg will stick.

Thoughts?

YAY! how ever did you get pg without o'ing?!

you are on progesterone now and you aren't spotting, so things are looking good! im sure they will do another bloodtest soon and figure it all out for you, but i think 12.7 isn't crazy low, i think they want it at least 15- 20, right? but that's not far off and you weren't on your supplements yet. and the time of the day you have it drawn can affect it a lil too. i am totally keeping all my fingers crossed for you! hang in there!

its very possible that you weren't 2-3dpo at the 1.6 blood draw.

its even possible that you were just about to O yet.

but in any case, progesterone levels before implantation do not matter at ALL (okay well low signals you may have an LP defect... and be unable to implant/sustain a pregnancy) but the 12 later on is a good number especially if you are already taking progesterone as of the night of that draw. Which sounds like implantation happened just fine and the sustaining will not be a problem at all.
