I don't think she can do buttons, though she can do snaps. She writes and draws well, cuts accurately, etc.

Golf pencils work well-they are too small to fist and it kind of forces them to hold it correctly.

Another really cheap easy activity is picking up craft pom-poms with clothespins. It's harder then it sounds but the kids I worked on fine motor skills with really liked it. Using squirt bottles and sponges also give the fine motor skills a workout.

I'm going to have to look into finding those color coded scissors. I have taught other children how to cut correctly but my own daughter will not listen to me.
