I have a 7-yo Rottie with a little arthritis in her hips, who's had ACL surgery three times (once to fix a previous surgery). She's also recovering from a bladder infection using Amoxicillin. Other than all that, she's healthy and energetic.
I saw her trying to get up, back legs splayed and shaking. I lifted her under her back end and she stood for about 30 seconds, back legs shaking. She hesitantly walked away and seemed fine after that. Throughout this spell, she was licking her lips, almost compulsively. We let her out, she was fine. She's back on the couch taking her nap and seems fine. Any ideas? A spasm, perhaps?
