When did your HCP start seeing you more often?

This is my 3rd...you think I would remember, lol. I think because I have such low key pregnancies and births, I never really think about more frequent appts. My next regular appt is around 28 weeks. In flipping through my old copy of some pregnancy book, it says around that time the HCP will start seeing you every 2 weeks. I went, huh?? Already?? Maybe I am in denial that I am this far along. Maybe it seems early because there is nothing very exciting going on. Or maybe cause I am not a fan of organizing my day and kids around Dr appts, lol. My OB is pretty hands-off with me, so my gut is that she will wait another month, until my 32 wk-ish time, to bring me in more often, but I guess I am wondering what is standard?

with mine it was 4 weeks til 28 then it goes

28 - 30 - 32 - 34 - 36 - 37 - 38 - 39 - 40 - 40.5 - 41 - 41.5 - 42

my midwife is the same... so I will be going monthly until my 28th... have a 30th week appointment up here then Im moving down there and from 30 weeks:

We would begin seeing you as soon as possible after you move here and every 2 weeks until your 36th week home visit and every week after that until delivery.

I think mine started seeing me every two weeks at 25 weeks (so my first two week visit was at 27 weeks). But we had this question on my DDC recently and mine seemed to be one of the earlier ones.

I was just seen at 33 weeks, and this time we're actually going to wait 3 weeks for my next one, because they want to see me at exactly 36 weeks.

At 36 weeks I'll go to every week.

At 40 weeks I'll go to twice a week.

If I'm still pregnant at 42 weeks, I think we sign an eviction notice.

Thanks Mae. I'm guessing that is standard. I ping pong back and forth between, wow...so exciting! and whoa...not ready for that yet!

My midwife starts at 28 weeks as well. But I tend to space my appointments out.

I've had a couple of different caregivers throughout my childbearing years.

I've always seen them monthly until 32 weeks. Then I would see them at 34 and 36 weeks and then weekly until delivery, which is usually somewhere around 41 weeks for me.

At the midwives clinic here it is every 4 weeks 'til about 32 weeks then every 2 weeks 'til 36 weeks, then weekly until the birth.
