Alternative to store bought kid's smoothie

Hello,

I am happy with my stainless steel water bottles, however, my daughter really likes to drink the store bought smoothies. I have made yummy kefir based drinks at home, but can't find any container to pack them in for lunch. The store bought ones are only 4 ounces or so, but the smallest water bottle I can find is at least 8 ounces. Any other containers out there?

Help me avoid the single serving package wastefulness,

If the container works to hold smoothie and is 8 oz, can you just fill it halfway full?

Otherwise, my DD drinks out of old olive and jelly jars that are smaller than that. If you save the lid, then you have a great travel container that she can use.

I don't actually have any 8 oz ones, ours are probably 16 or 18 oz. I would like something smaller that I could pack in a normal size lunchbox. It is so easy to buy the prepackaged kid's size drinks and yogurts and they are so compact and easy to carry. I have searched online and haven't found any reusable containers smaller than the 8 oz ones.

Sorry I didn't explain well,

What about breastmilk storage bottles? Those usually come in 4-5 oz sizes and are made to hold frozen/chilled milk.

Could you just wash and reuse one of the store bought smoothie containers?

so you want a smaller version of the stainless water bottle you already have? I think Kleen Kanteen makes all sizes..

We use this cup for smoothies. I love it because it is insulated and even in the summer the smoothies stay cool for hours. I just make sure to rinse the straw out as soon I can.

If you go with the insulated Klean Kanteen her drinks will stay cold for up to 24 hours, and hot for 6.

I like the 12 oz insulated Klean Kanteens. But they might be too big for your needs. You could just fill them up part-way.

You could also consider Foogo Phases straw cups. They are 10 oz. They also have a BPA plastic version that is 11 oz.
