EC'ers in Santa Fe and Albuquerque... (XPosted in Finding your Tribe)

I am a member of the Leadership Council for DiaperFreeBaby and will be spending a week in Albuquerque and Santa Fe from March 13th-20th. I'd love to meet with families in one or both cities to talk about the EC community in New Mexico... in part because we are thinking of moving (back) to Santa Fe! I was born in Santa Fe and moved to Albuquerque at 10 years old.

Post here or PM me if you are interested in getting together. We could meet at my mom's house or at a kid-friendly coffee shop.

I am in Albuquerque and would love to get together. We could meet at my place (very kid friendly) or at any of our awesome parks or the children's museum, etc.

I'm in Santa Fe - and I can say you'll have a fun visit with theboysmama if you meet her in ABQ - she's got a super family.

If we plan in advance a little, I can try to wrangle up all the ec-ing mamas I know up here for an ec community get-together at my house when you come! One family just moved away, but I know at least 3 others in addition to my essentially graduated 2 yo son. I always think there's gotta be more, but I haven't found them.

LCB- Great! But I'm confused-- are you in Santa Fe and you just moved away from ABQ? So the folks you might be able to find are in ABQ or in SF?

I live in SFe, and a while ago tried to drum up the ec community, but got few responses. theboysmama came to our house with her sweet tribe for a visit. The other folks I know are all in SFe or slightly north of here.

LCBMAX - you are too sweet.

I know a few ec families in albuquerque and just taught a class that had 7 adults and their children come so the interest is out there.
We have a huge play ground in the back yard and lots of toys (and lots o little potties) so I would be happy to host and it should be a blast.

thought I was going to be out of town the week before this but just checked my calendar and that is the week I will be gone
I really would like to get together with other ec'ers so hopefully we can make that happen.
