I could not be happier that I finally found something to keep me "regular," even now at 37 weeks, when things are clearly very crowded in there!
For 2 weeks I've been starting my day with a smoothie consisting of kefir (goat milk kefir for me, because I'm lactose intolerant but can handle the goat stuff), 100% cranberry juice (hoping to avoid Group B strep, with cranberry plus the wonderful kefir probiotics), a heaping tablespoon of organic ground flax seeds (which my midwife assures me is fine at this point), and frozen berries. YUMMMMMMY!!!
For anyone out there who continues to suffer from annoying bowel blockage, give it a try! I sure don't want to be constipated when I go into labor...
