Cod Liver Oil- Any tips on taking it?

Ugh. I am trying to take it daily, and I would love my 2.5 year old to start taking it as well. Any tips to getting it down? It tastes soooo bad, I'm having trouble even hiding it in smoothies. The kind I have has cinnamon flavoring, but it doesn't help...
Thanks!

When my son was reluctant I let him have a little bit of OJ after it as a treat/bribe. He is now 5 and just takes it without any juice since he is used to it now.

Mine is lemon-flavoured and it doesn't even taste like fish! I have no trouble taking it at all.

It's Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil - lemon.

We take the Green Pastures Fermented High Vitamin Cod Liver Oil (cinnamon flavor). I just squirt it in the back of my mouth and chase it with cold water. My kids both just take it straight (the 2 1/2 year old asks for it at least 4x a day, the baby seems to like it fine).

The best ones I have found for my kids (and myself) are Green Pastures Cinnamon (like the pp said) or Barlean's. They are definitely the most palatable. My 10 year old won't go near the liquid, no matter what, so he gets tablets to swallow.
