Liners

What kind of liners do you use in your diapers? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase liners or make my own... what kind do you use and why? If you made your own what kind of fabric do you use? I am using pocket style diapers and prefolds.

what are you looking for? Ones you wash but keep your babys bum dry or ones you toss out?
I have cut up some fleece to lie as a barrier to keep my guys bum dryer, and for flushable liners I like the Bummis. They are very soft (I was worried they would feel like toilet paper)

I only use liners when we are traveling or if I am in a situation where I need to use ointments or salves or something else that might mess up the diaper. In those situations, I always use the Imse Vimse liners. As I mostly use them for ease while traveling, I like that they are biodegradable and disposable.

Thank you.

Mostly I am looking for washable ones for home, but wouldn't mind having a box of disposables for travel time too.

I use cut up fleece too. I just got some from the remnant bin @ the fabric store and cut it into ovals.

I did it when I was having rash issues so I could use some cream, but discovered poop disposal was much easier. So I've kept using them.

ETA I use mostly prefolds.
