I have some pain

Last night I had some crampy pain in my lower belly. I think b/c of some bathroom issues. I used my magic bag to ease it. Now I have a little bit of throbbing pain, just a little bit just to the left side right above my pubic bone.

When I touch with both hands right above my pubic bone I can feel something hard there, now is the baby or what? It seems to be bigger on the left side as well.

You might want the doctor to check that with an u/s it might be a cyst. They are painful. I have had them a few times. They dont mean its cancerus or anything because the common ones will grow and grow and sometimes burst (that really does hurt when it happens). Sometimes they will go down on there own. Ask your doctor about it because if it is a cyst they might just tell you it has to go away on its own it will be painful. I'm being honest when I do say if it is what your feeling now times it by 10 and thats what it usually feels like when one of those bursts. It will only last a couple of hours then you wont have anymore pain after that if it is. Just talk to the doctor they will tell you for sure what it is.

I don't recall how far along you are, or if you've had an ultrasound confirming the location of the pregnancy, but it could potentially be an ectopic if you're on the earlier side of things. It's worth checking out if you are continuing to have pain, no matter what.

I think I remember reading that you are like 5-6 weeks but time flies so I may be wrong. I think you might consider talking to your hcp for sure and tell her what pain you are having.

shes 12 weeks... an ectopic surely would have ruptured by now wouldn't it?

Yeah at 12 weeks you would have surely known if it where ectopic. It could be round ligament pain or a cyst like a pp mentioned or even normal growing pains.

Yes, 12 weeks is past the ectopic range.

Yeah I think I'm about 12 weeks from what the nurse told me when she called to confirm the test results. There isn't any pain now at all. Just some nausea and I'm thirsty. I haven't seen a doc yet at all,but see her on March 12th. Not sure what to expect other then filling out a bunch of forms and answering many questions. I was told they do an ultra sound at 20 weeks, but maybe if I tell them I'm a bit worried she will do on early.

I do see a nurse at the clinic tomorrow, but it's to apply for OLO to get some eggs, milk and juice and to ask a few questions. I'm not sure if she's able to offer any kind of exam or or not but I can always ask.

I just got back from the nurse and though she didn't give me an exam she said that what I was feeling was the baby and sometime the uterus sorta tips to one side or the other and it should be fine. She also said I'm a lower weight then I should be,probably from hardly eating the last few weeks. I should fine though.
