My DD is 3 and has recently discovered that lying on her stomach rubbing her "front bottom" into the floor or some object feels good. So now she is doing it alot. Both at home and when we are out.
Like today at the science museum. At home I've told her it's fine to do but she should do it in private, (and not on my knee). But what do I do in public? Sometime I just ignore it, but it's looking pretty obvious to me what she's doing, and yes, she may be fine about it but I'm getting embarrassed. When I've gently reminded her that it's not appropriate in public and that she should wait until we get home and she has privacy, she will say "just a minute mommy" and not stop until she's ready.
Any suggestions?
