Springfield area moms/dads

Anyone in the Springfield area interested in forming a playgroup? I know that there are lots of kid-friendly groups in the NoHo area but I'd love to have a group a little closer to home.

I would be very interested. I have a DS 2yrs old and a DD 6 yrs old that goes to k-garten part-time. I'm just south of Springfield in Longmeadow, but willilng to travel a bit.

Yeah! I'm not sure about the best way to organize this. Should I send a pm to everyone with my email and start coordinating that way? We are looking forward to meeting some new families!

No, I never got the group going but I am still interested. It has been a crazy few months here and I've barely even been online. Maybe now that the weather is nice we could meet at a park or something? Forest Park, Stanley Park, Mitteneague Park are just a few that come to mind.

I'm interested! We're moving to CT at the end of the month but we won't be far from Springfield. I love Forest Park!
My kids are 3 and 6 mo.

How about Tuesday, from 12:30-6 there is a farmers market in the park behind the basketball courts that has a great organic farm stand.

Or meeting up on Tuesday during the Farmer's Market is good as well.

Thanks Ber for the pm. Sorry we couldn't meet.

How about next Monday, the 7th? We'll probably end up at the Farmer's Market on Tuesday as well but my DH is taking part of the day off from work so we'll just want to hang with him.

Mornings and late afternoon (after 3) work best for us but we can be a little flexible.

I met littlegreenlady & her LO at FP today - it was really nice!

I'm still planning on being there Friday, and so far it looks like at least 1 or 2 more will be there too, so if anyone else is up for it, definitely join in

As for Monday, I'll have to say I'm up in the air for that - it's possible that the kids would be interested in heading there again, but I need to see how things go on Friday first.

And beyond that, littlegreenlady & I were talking about it, and it'd be cool if we could pick maybe 2 days a month to try to meet up somewhere. Tues late mornings, Thurs all day & Fridays late mornings are best for us, but we're also pretty flexible.
