I may be able to do monday, but won't be able to stay long because I have family visiting.

Fridays are bad for me, but can be available the rest of the week.

littlegreenlady - we're still planning on Mon. I'll pM you!

I was able to meet Mamachelle & her LOs on Friday and it was another very nice meetup! After tomorrow, maybe we can start trying to figure out a couple days a month that work - so that at least a couple of us can get to each one or both!

we were there again today - 3 times in a week

We were a little late than what we were aiming for because the 3yo wasn't convinced it was the best idea. I don't know if we missed anyone else because of that, but I did talk to another mom about my Ergo and the kids were happy to be there.

I plan on taking my 3 kids to the park for the day. I heard the water park won't open until the 1st, so we are thinking of going on Thur or Fri. We are only visiting and leave for home very soon.

New to Springfield area also

We just moved to this area as well. I have 3 children ages 9,6 & 3. I would be interested in meeting with other like minded SAHM's in the area. This incredible heat has been killing us! We really haven't been up to playing at the park this week. Once the heat breaks, we'd be up for meeting at Forest Park. Or, would anyone be interested in meeting at one of the local children's museums?

I know this thread was started a while ago and I've yet to meet anyone but I'm still super interested in getting a group going.

Yes the heat is too much, I was in the park yesterday and even in the forested area the heat was overwhelming.

It's still looking sort of hot for Forest Park, but the Children's Museum in Springfield is a fun place to wander around. I'm up for meeting people there and I'm getting ready to pM those who have messaged me recently!

I'm thinking the museum on Wednesday (live animal show) then FP on Friday (zoo/train/ice cream). I pMed a few people that I've previously been in touch with, but anyone else who is interested, let me know and I'll give details!

That looks cool, and I wouldn't mind coordinating stuff if people who wanted to be on the list sent me their emails, and then if people would send me proposed events
