Has anyone else read this? I'm not sure how I came by it, I don't know if I bought it online or someone recommended it or what but so far (disclaimer: I'm only about half way through!) it's great. He talks about his wife's impending home birth, their relationship with his wife's daughter's father, pigs, sheep, chickens, cows, growing up in a big family with lots of sibling and foster siblings, etc. It's just been great.

Spoiler Warning for the Sensitive (also, can not figure out spoiler tags, sorry):

I guess the only warning is that he does tell (so far) one story from his childhood about a foster sister who passed away. It's only a few pages and very touching, but I admit it did make me cry.

I can't believe I'm the only person that loved this book! Homebirth! Chickens! Pigs!

As an update, I just finished it and it was AWESOME but there are some very sad parts and I would think vegans might want to skip it as they do raise animals for food.
