I am not sure if this is the best place to post this question but I know that there are many mamas here with lots of experience with lots of different types of potties - so here goes:
My DS is 29mo and has been out of diapers since 24mo (so its not diaper related) but he has developed a dry, bumpy, itchy rash on the back of his legs and groin area & the only thing that I can think is that it is from his potty seat?
He uses a bblp at night with my 7mo DD but during the day he uses a safety 1st potty that I bought a long time ago (shortly after his first birthday). The problem with that potty is that the foam ring on top seems to absorb moisture - yuck! - needless to say I am getting a new potty seat for him.
Has anyone else had this happen? A rash from a potty seat?
He has a ped appt monday to look at it because it itches (mostly at bedtime) and looks terrible. But I am not sure if it is from the potty seat?
