I'm not totally new to the Mothering website, but I've never really gotten on the forums before.
I'm a single mom to a two year old little boy and we live in Littleton, CO. I'm currently out of full time work, but I'm going to school full time and working on finishing up my doula certification through DONA. I love birth and would like to work in pregnancy and birth my whole life. The ultimate goal is to become a midwife, but I try to stay open and flexible about what the future might hold. I used to be in the Army, but I got out in January.
My hobbies include reading, writing, gardening, cooking, crafting, hiking, camping and spending time with my son. I've very passionate about sustainable living, urban agriculture, single parenting issues and of course, natural birth and parenting.
