10 month old, pooping in pants

We are up to five poops in a row in her pants. Has anyone else experienced an increase in poops missed around 9 to 10 months

Not really, but can I make a guess at what's happened with you guys anyway?

Increase in solids and she's really loving the winter citrus?

My son is 11 months & just started doing the same thing over the past month. If I can get him to go on the potty he'll get it all out in one shot. But lately he refuses to go on the potty but then will have a bunch of smallish poos in his pants through the day. I think he's just decided he's too busy to sit on the potty. He'll stand & pee on it and for a while he's stand and poo into it. But now he'll only do it in his pants or on the floor. I'm sure they'll come around eventually.

Yes! No poops AT ALL in pants from 8 months to 10 months (or maybe it was 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 now that I think about it) and then lots of poop misses after that. Our poop strike lasted seven months, so if yours lasts less than that, you're doing good in my book!

thanks for the replies

Nope no citrus in her diet yet. I have been trying to evaluate if it is food related but haven't deduced any thing yet.

At least I know that I'm not alone in this booty wiping mess.

If it is a case that she's just not wanting to sit, maybe try to up the potty fun factor? Toys, books, new location for the potty (especially outdoors if you can manage it)
