Anyone experienced swollen vagina? 15 weeks pregnant

Last two days I was a little constipated and tried to do #2 few times a day with not much straining though. Then I noticed that something is protruding out the inside of my vagina.I could feel it and when I looked down there I saw three lumps inside vagina. I couldn't see my opening! It was all blocked by those lumps. I freaked out but by morning it subsided. It's still there but not as big. It looks like two lumps now, one more on the outside and the other is inside on the left. Not too deep but definitely inside.
I looked it up and it doesn't look like Bartholin's gland. Not even close. and not like veins
I don't think it's because of the constipation because I can't say i was that much straining or pushing.
I think you can call it swollen vagina and according to google it can happen during pregnancy and yeast inf, which I have too.
I am going to wait and see when and if it reappears in that size again. My appointment is in 2.5 weeks and I don't want to run to mw for nothing. I will, of course, let her check it out when I go.

Anyone else experienced anything like that?

Is this your second? Could this be the problem?

i am just way too scared to even think that it is. It could be
I only had one child and a very easy birth with little pushing. DD was only 6 lb.
I also had a miscarriage - a complicated one, I must add.
I guess, I have to go in and have checked it out.

Do you think I should go to an OB or my midwife should be able to tell?

I would go get checked out asap. That doesn't sound normal.

My guess is vaginal varicosities (like hemorrhoids for the girly parts). Not fun at all.
I would think the midwife would be able to tell and send you to an OB as necessary.

I had this earlier on in my pregnancy. "Parts" sticking out when I was trying to poop. It is gross, but it has gone away since my uterus moved up out of my pelvis. My doc said it was no big deal and happens sometimes.

I can't say with nearly enough urgency, get thee to a urogynecologist. You can find one near you at this website: http://www.mypelvichealth.org/. Even if you have to drive a distance, it will be worth it.

They will be able to (a) tell you what is going on with the greatest degree of accuracy, (b) help you find a solution while you are pregnant, and (c) discuss more permanent solutions for after your baby comes.

Yes, these kinds of things do "sometimes happen" but most OBs are not trained in the long term consequences of not treating them aggressively enough (think a lifetime of possible urinary and fecal incontinence). And while Kegel's may help some pelvic floor issues, they are not always the great panacea we have been led to believe - they strengthen muscle but if it is fascia that is torn, there are no number of Kegels that can fix that.

Best of luck - I wish I didn't have experience with a urogyn. but am so glad I found one I trust!
