5 yo bday party outdoor game ideas

We are having my 5 yo's bday party at a park with some fun playground equipment and a grassy field. We'll have about 7 kids there ages 4-5, plus family members. I'm looking for some fun game ideas for the kids to play together. I remember when I was a kid how magical it was to have a bunch of kids together and doing organized games and races. I'm just not sure what will work for this age group.

Thanks for any ideas!

For DS's 4th we did Pirate theme and had a scavenger hunt for buried treasure and I buried gold coins in the sand they had so much fun digging for them. You can do any type of scavenger hunt. Relay races, three-legged race, catch where they have to move further apart (no necessarily a water ballon if not getting wet). Have fun, we always do outdoor parties.

Musical chairs. :-)

You could do a relay race with different actions at different legs of the race (crab walk, skipping, etc).

Transporting cubes of jello on a spoon to fill a bowl. If jello falls off the spoon they have to go back and get another cube.

The three-legged race could be dangerous for kids of that age and might result in grass burns on faces . .

One thing I thought was really fun was to put all the shoes in a pile. Then have the kids sit with their backs to the pile of shoes while the parents scatter them around. The first kid to find their shoes, put them back on, and sit down wins.

Shaving cream fights, or painting with shaving cream would also be fun.
