Adaptive stroller recommendations

My DD had an anoxic brain injury at 4 mos of age, she now has muscle control problems. Overall her tone is good, but her purposeful movement is limited, especially in her legs. Her Rehab doc has recommended that we get an adaptive stroller for her. Any recommendations out there? Anything you hated? She is 29 inches long and 22 1/2 lbs. She has no growth problems, so they think her size will remain on track developmentally.

For her current size/weight, why not a mainstream stroller? Or does she need equipment attached to it, O2 or feeding bag?

Sorry, additional info wouls have been helpful. DD has a trach and a g-tube. We do not currently need O2, but we do need something to hold a feeding pump & bag, but I can usually find somewhere to attach it. Her rehab doc prefers the adaptive strollers for better positioning.

we have a kimba and really like it. it does weigh about 40 lbs, but you're going to get that with any adaptive stroller really. I'd get the size 2 if she can fit in it because then it will last longer. it reclines, and can face towards you or away from you.

We too have a kimba. LOVE IT!! I bought some stroller clips off of Amazon for less than 10 bucks that I hang his backpack for his feedings on. We get comments all the time on how nice of a stroller we have. It looks very little like a wheelchair in my opinion. I LOVE it, can't say enough good things about it. I also like that it can go forward or rear facing, since sometimes, I like to keep a good eye on my ds.

Good luck!

We had a Kimba for Lily as well and it worked great for her. Our DME got the size one though and she outgrew it quickly (though she'd fit back in it now), so we got a Chunc wheelchair.
I do think the Kimba is pretty much the best of the adaptive strollers.
