I plan on working a few 4-5 hour shifts a week starting when my baby is 2 months old. She's a big girl, she was 9lbs at birth, and I know that from her 5 day visit until her 2 week visit she gained a full pound (from her lowest weight). I will be gone, at most, less than 2 hours one weeknight, and 4-5 hours each on Sat and Sunday. I don't plan on pumping during those times, although I will bring a manual pump in case I do get a few minutes to pump, if only so I don't get mastitis. I started pumping today, (she's 3 weeks) just a little as I don't want to make any oversupply issues worse. I am pretty full in the mornings, so that is when I will pump. I just don't know how much she will need while I'm gone. Any site where I can estimate how much she might need?
