Swim Diapers

Does anyone have a good recommendation for reusable swim diapers? For a two year old.....

we like imse vimse ones but I've heard good things about using pocket diapers without any inserts as a swim diaper - they just need to hold poo and at 2 years old that should be fairly solid so I would think a pocket diaper with insert or even just a diaper cover by itself would be fine

I just got a Monkey Doodlez swim diaper to try out
I don't know how it will work yet but I am excited to get to the pool this weekend hopefully to test it out.

IPlay has toddler swim diapers. They even have ones inside normal swim trunks. I think Bummi's does too. We use bummis.

We never used one for DS past 2. The shorts have the "net" in them to hold any poop. Before that we used a regular pocket diaper.

I think you only really need one if you are taking a swimming class & the pool requires it.

I love the imse vimse ones, too! I got mine from an MDC mama here: imse vimse swim diaper link yay for swimming!

I love the Imse Vimse swim diapers. I just wish I had boys so I could buy the cute matching tankini tops.

I have heard of those who use a very well fitting cover, like a Thirsties. If you use that or a pocket as a previous poster suggested, just make sure it is one that is out of your rotation. The chlorine in a pool could really mess with the snaps and the fabric.

Happy Swimming!

We used the iPlay brand. Bought them at Target; they were usually on the end caps.

We did use a pocket dipe a few times, but at the time that DS was in swim dipes, there was so much talk on mothering about how you could get an air pocket in the empty pocket, and it could cause the baby to be stuck on their belly in the water, etc etc, that it had happened to a few babies of women on mothering... Even though I had serious questions about how that could have happened, it just weighed on my mind, and I stopped using the FB and bought the iPlay instead.
