I am taking it because I had two miscarriages and was diagnosed with a MTHFR gene mutation and APS which results in sticky blood. These diagnoses likely caused my miscarriages. My doc and a midwife recommended aspirin even if I didn't get the testing done due to having two miscarriages. I helps with sticky blood and helps the baby implant esp. in those with stick blood. My doc said it improves pregnancy outcome as much as 85% with those who have sticky blood.

I agree with Tonya that for people with problems such as clotting disorders and other blood problems, aspirin helps a lot!

But if you have no problem with your blood/lining I wouldn't do it myself. If its not medically necessary for you... it can cause problems.
