Homemade Laundry Soap

Thread Starter
Does anyone use anything besides borox, washing soda (washing powder, sodium carbonate), and bar soap in their laundry soap?

I did a bit of research online before deciding that I really need to talk to the experts.

I intend to use vinegar as a fabric softener, but does it work the same if you put it in the wash cycle instead of the rinse?

Ideas and help please!

I just use baking soda and vinegar together in the wash. For diapers I add tea tree oil to it. It seems to work just fine, but I'll be interested in the other answers too
