does this look wrong to you?
I was loking for thermometers that give you the temp to the hundredths place and saw this:

The sample chart shows peak fertility extending to 3dpo. how can this be? Am I reading something wrong here?

When doing NFP (aka using BBT to AVOID pregnancy) that is what they suggest doing.

yeah it's for tta. it takes a 3 day temp shift to confirm ovulation. fertile period just refers to the time when you have fertile signs until ovulation is confirmed. it doesn't mean you're likely to cnceive 3 days after a temp shift.

okay but then they have "less fertile period" extending all the way to 1 day before ovulation - is that not the MOST fertile period?

we did NFP too and since I wasnt temping or anything we were fairly ball-park about it (condoms as back-up in the middle third of cycle). of course it would have been nice to have been temping jsut to have all that data ...

umm yeah weird! We did the NFP and I always felt like we were flirting with risk even at 7 days before ovulation. (Ahhh, the naivety I had If only I'd messed up then and gotten knocked up.) I only felt "safe" after ovulation was confirmed.
